Two locations, one island. Whether you are planning a quiet weeknight dinner, a brunch for twelve, or catering for the whole office, here is everything you need to find us — and the fastest way to reach us is the message form below.
Seattle — Ballard
Our original location sits in the heart of Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, a short walk from the locks, the breweries and the Sunday farmers market.
- Hours: Sunday–Thursday 11am–close; Friday & Saturday 11am–2am
- Brunch: Saturday & Sunday, 11am–2pm
- Happy hour: every day 3pm–6pm (all ages), plus late-night happy hour (21+)
- Reservations: Ballard is first-come, first-served — no reservations needed
Redmond
Our Eastside location is in downtown Redmond, WA — full details on the La Isla Redmond page.
- Hours: Sunday–Thursday 11am–11pm; Friday & Saturday 11am–2am
- Brunch: Saturday & Sunday, 11am–2pm
- Happy hour: every day 3pm–6pm, plus late-night happy hour
- Reservations: available (and recommended on weekends) — request a table using the form below
Reservations
Reservations are accepted at the Redmond location only. Send us your preferred date, time and party size through the message form, and we will confirm by email. Parties of 12 or more should ask about the event room instead — it is a much better fit (and comes with its own server).
Event Room
La Isla Redmond’s private event room can be reserved for parties of 12 or more: birthdays, rehearsal dinners, team celebrations, quinceañeras and beyond. Family-style platters of pernil, pastelón, tostones and arroz con gandules make group ordering painless. Message us for pricing and availability.
Catering
We cater! From office lunches to wedding buffets, our kitchen travels well — pernil holds its succulence, empanadillas disappear by the dozen, and a tray of tres leches makes any meeting better. Tell us your headcount, date and location through the form and our catering team will build you a quote. You can also browse the full menu for inspiration, or see delivery and takeout options for smaller orders.
Gift Cards
Gift cards are available for purchase at both locations — the perfect gift for the person in your life who keeps saying they “need to finally try mofongo.”
Good to Know
- Dietary needs: the menu marks vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free items — note that gluten-free fried items share a fryer — and our kitchen is happy to talk through ingredients before you order.
- Kids: families are welcome at both locations during regular hours; late-night happy hour seating is 21+.
- Large groups: walk-in parties of eight or more in Ballard should expect a short wait at peak times; in Redmond, book the event room and skip the math entirely.
- Parking: street and neighborhood parking is available near both restaurants, and downtown Redmond adds nearby public lots.
- Accessibility: both dining rooms are wheelchair accessible — message us ahead and we will hold a comfortable table.
- Waiting for a table: the bar pours the full cocktail list, and an order of empanadillas has a documented ability to make any wait feel shorter.
Press & Community
Writers, bloggers and event organizers: we love talking about Puerto Rican food and culture, and we have a soft spot for community causes — see our Help Puerto Rico page for the kind of work we like to support. Use the form below and tell us what you are working on.
Send Us a Message
Use the contact form on this page for reservations, catering quotes, event-room bookings, press inquiries, donation requests or anything else. Whichever location you are asking about, please mention it in your message — Ballard and Redmond each have their own team, and we will route your note to the right kitchen.
We read everything and respond as quickly as the lunch rush allows — usually within one business day.
